Open Enrollment Teamsters Employees

Please take a moment to review the following important information to ensure that your benefits—and those of your family members—are updated for the upcoming year.

 Teamster employees are subject to two separate Open Enrollment periods, and we want to make it easy for you to know what steps you need to take relative to each.

1) Teamsters’ Health Insurance Open Enrollment:  October 15th – November 15th   with Zenith American Solutions

  • Spousal Affidavit Requirement: If you have a spouse enrolled in the medical plan, a completed spousal affidavit is required during Open Enrollment. Failure to submit the affidavit will result in termination of your spouse’s medical and prescription coverage effective January 1st.  Click here to sign-on and complete.
  • HMO Health Plan of Nevada Participants:  The HPN plan is being eliminated and the Engaged Care Plan is being offered in its place.All HPN members must actively select a plan during Open Enrollment. If no election is made, you will be automatically enrolled in the Engaged Care Plan.  For more information about how the new plan works, watch the 2026 open enrollment video or refer to the Engaged Care Plan page.
  • Dependent Coverage: Please review and update any other insurance information for your covered dependents to ensure accurate coordination of benefits. Click here to sign-on and complete.
  • PPO Participants: If you are currently enrolled in the PPO plan and wish to switch to the Engaged Care Plan, you must make an active election during Open Enrollment to change to the Engaged Care Plan. Click here to sign-on and complete.

2) City of Henderson Open Enrollment- November 1st thru November 30th with COH Benefits team

This open enrollment is for Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Voluntary Benefits such as AFLAC and ARAG Legal Insurance.

Important Note: If you participate in the FSA in 2025, and wish to participate in an FSA for the upcoming year, you must re-enroll—coverage does not automatically renew.

  • To enroll in 2026 Flexible Spending Account (FSA), click on Open Enrollment Tile in Employee Self-Service in PeopleSoft. 
  • To enroll or make changes to your other voluntary benefits, Visit myapplications.microsoft.com from your City computer > Select Paylogix App

This will be available starting on November 1st, and closes November 30th

What is an FSA ?

Flexible spending allows you to pay certain health care and dependent care expenses using pre-tax income. The 2026, contribution maximums are $3,400 for medical FSA and $7,500 for dependent care expenses.

Eligible health care expenses can include:

  • Deductibles

  • Copayments

  • Coinsurance

  • Other out-of-pocket unreimbursed medical expenses

  • Over-the-counter medications

  • Feminine hygiene products

Eligible dependent care expenses can include:

  • Child care and elder/adult day care

How do I enroll?

If you wish to participate in the FSA program for the 2026 plan year, you MUST enroll using the Open Enrollment tile in PeopleSoft Employee Self-Service or go to PeopleSoft > Employee Self-Service > Open Enrollment no later than November 30, 2025. Call COH Benefits at 702-267-1944 for assistance with using the Employee Self-Service online enrollment function.

Once you are enrolled, you will receive further direction on the following:

  • Obtaining your pre-paid benefits debit card (medical expenses only)

  • Submitting reimbursement requests for qualified transactions

  • Signing up for direct deposit for your reimbursements

Voluntary Benefits- Open Enrollment

November 1st thru November 30th, 2025

Voluntary Benefits available only during Open Enrollment include:

  • Critical Illness
  • Accident
  • Cancer
  • Short-Term Disability
  • Legal Insurance

    Voluntary Benefits available anytime include:

  • Identity and Credit Protection
  • Pet Insurance
  • Term Life Insurance

How to Enroll

Online Enrollment

  • Visit myapplications.microsoft.com from your City computer
  • Select Paylogix App
  • If enrolling from your home computer or phone, you will be required to enter your City e-mail address, network log-in password, and authenticate with a verification code sent to the phone you identified during your previous Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) set-up.
